Marshall, 43, worked as Boortz's engineer for his local and later nationally syndicated radio shows for more than 15 years. He also hosted an evening talk show, "The Royal Treatment" on WSB for several years.

Royal Marshall Biography

Royal was born in Oklahoma, the elder brother of trumpeter Ernie Royal, and learned to play violin, guitar, as well as clarinet and sax while still a child. He first performed in public at the age of thirteen, starting his professional career with an eight-year stint with Les Hite's band (1931–1939), during which time he also recorded with Art Tatum. He spent 1940 to 1942 with Lionel Hampton, until the war interrupted his career. After his military service (during which he played in a Navy band), Royal played with Eddie Heywood, then went on to work in studios in Los Angeles, California.

In 1951 Royal replaced Buddy DeFranco as clarinettist with Count Basie's septet, which Basie had formed after circumstances forced him to dissolve his big band. When the Basie band was reformed the following year, Royal stayed on as lead alto saxophonist and as music director — not to leave until 1970. Though he was admired as an occasional soloist, his main rôle was as an important part of the reeds section, and as a leader who helped to give Basie's sound its distinctively precise yet swinging character.

When he left Basie in 1970, Royal settled permanently in Los Angeles, continuing to play and record, working with Bill Berry's big band, Frank Capp and Nat Pierce, Earl Hines, and Duke Ellington.

Royal recorded as a soloist with Dave Frishberg in 1977, and with Warren Vache in 1978. He co-led a band with Snooky Young in the 1970s and 1980s, recording with it in 1978,[1] and with Ella Fitzgerald and Gene Harris, among others. In 1989 he took the lead alto chair with Frank Wess's big band.

Major Rick Hoyt of the Washington County sheriff’s office tells the AP that an additional policy forbids working in specific types of jobs, “and one of those has to do with sexual conduct,” Hoyt said. If the investigation concludes Lunderby violated any of these policies, punishment could range from a mere reprimand to dismissal.

It is not unusual for terms of employment to require that employees circumscribe their behavior in certain ways. While the employment terms prohibiting “sexual conduct” or “conduct unbecoming an officer” may sound like a variation on the morals clause often still found in actor’s contracts or contracts for those representing a product, it may have more to do with maintaining public trust in public employees. The Golden Globe nominations 2011 may not have been a surprise to critics who predicted many of the nods, but a number of the nominees were shocked by their nods. The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., meaning many of the West Coast stars were asleep at the time, though Julianne Moore didn't have that excuse.

This is the video Ben Roethlisberger punched by Richard Seymour in the Face in Game, Richard Seymour was ejected for hitting Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger with an open-hand slap to the jaw following a Roethlisberger-to-Emmanuel Sanders touchdown pass, which gave the Steelers a 21-3 lead.

Following the touchdown, there was a scuffle near the line of scrimmage -- as there was after many plays in the first half -- and as Roethlisberger stepped in to the middle of it, Seymour hit him in the jaw area, knocking Roethlisberger to the ground

Seymour was instantly ejected.

The Steelers were penalized eight times for 103 yards in the first half, including a borderline roughing the passer call on LaMarr Woodley. Given the way the NFL has attempted to protect players, especially the quarterbacks, this season from blows to the head, it should be interesting to see how the the league handles this incident. If a routine roughing the passer penalty results in a fine, what will be the result of a play that led to an ejection?

WWE Survivor Series Results, November 21, 2010 - WWE's top star, John Cena, is storyline "fired" after the result of tonight's main event at the Survivor Series PPV. Cena, as special referee for WWE champion Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett, counted a pinfall for Orton to allow him to retain the WWE Title. It also meant he was "fired" from WWE due to Barrett not capturing the WWE Title.

After an even, back-and-forth match, the finish was set up when Barrett shoved Cena following a nearfall. Cena then pushed Barrett back and Orton dropped Barrett with the RKO. Cena counted two, paused, then counted to three for the pinfall.

WWE announcer Matt Striker missed the stipulation and shouted, "Cena is free!" Cole then corrected him, "Cena is fired." After the finish, Nexus was cleared from ringside after trying to attack Orton and Cena. The men then embraced center ring and Orton left the ring.

As the PPV was set to go off the air, Cena was spotlighted as he left the ring. Then, Cena did a victory lap that WWE showed on the PPV broadcast. Cena saluted the crowd a final time before leaving to conclude the event ten minutes before the top of the hour.

The storyline of Cena being "fired" will lead to follow-up Monday night on Raw with Randy Orton still WWE champion and Wade Barrett unsuccessful in capturing the WWE Title.

WWE Survivor Series 2010 Results:

1. Daniel Bryan defeated Ted DiBiase in a very good opener to remain United State Champion. Bryan was on offense for most of the match and at one point connected with a suicide dive onto DiBiase who was ringside at that point. DiBiase finally had a comeback but Bryan withstood it before landing a side suplex off the top rope. He followed up with the LeBell Lock a moment later and DiBiase tapped out.

After the match, Bryan was walking up the ramp to the back at stopped at the top of the stage to wave to the crowd. The Miz then ran out and cracked him in the back of the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Miz then went to the ring while cohort Alex Riley accompanied him. He then ripped on the Miami Heat (the show is taking place in south beach) and put both Randy Orton and Wade Barrett -- who are facing each other in the main event -- on notice, saying that he is tired of carrying around that briefcase.

2. John Morrison defeated Sheamus with the bully getting his comeuppance here. Sheamus has been the bully for weeks, beating up on Santino Marella with Morrison coming to the rescue. In the match, Morrison more than held his own with the former world champion. Sheamus tried to connect with a Brough Kick but missed and Morrison was able to capitalize, hitting a kick off the middle rope to the head and then a shining wizard for the pin.

3. Dolph Ziggler defeated Kaval to retain the Intercontinental Championship. A good back and forth, hard-hitting match between the two. Ziggler took a kick in the face that gave him a bloody nose. The two exchanged a bunch of pin attempts throughout the match. Kaval went for a cradle but Ziggler reversed it and held on to his trunks for the victory.

4. Team Mysterio (Rey Mysterio, Big Show, MVP, Kofi Kingston, and Chris Masters) beat Team Del Rio (Alberto Del Rio, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, and Tyler Reks) in a Survivor Series elimination match. Del Rio left the match fairly early on after the Big Show cracked him with his knockout punch and he was helped to the back. Everyone expected him to come back at the end of the match but he never did. The match came down to Mysterio and Show against Swagger and McIntyre. Mysterio eliminated Swagger with a splash off of Show's shoulders and then McIntyre was defeated shortly thereafter after receiving a chokeslam from the giant.

5. Natalya defeated Layla and Michelle McCool in a handicapped match to become the Divas Champion. A quick match with Natalya getting McCool to tap out to the Sharpshooter. After the match, the former champions were beating up Natalya until Beth Phoenix made her long-awaited return from a knee injury to make the save and celebrated with the new champion.

6. Kane and Edge finished with a double pin in their World Heavyweight Championship match. Before the match began, Edge brought a wheelchair down to ringside. Paul Bearer never showed for the match with the Big Red Machine wondering where he was at one point. Kane hit a chokeslam but Edge was able to kick out. He then went for a Tombstone Piledriver but Edge slipped out and hit a spear. Both men were laying on the mat as Edge put his arm over Kane and Kane did the same. The referee counted the pin and ring announcer Tony Chimel announced that the Edge was the new champion. Wrong. The referee said it was a draw and Kane retained the title. Afterwards, Edge got Kane in the wheelchair and pushed him through the ringside barricade near the timekeeper.

7. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater defeated Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov to remain the WWE Tag-Team Champions. Nexus members David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris were ringside during this one and got involved. Santino was about to use his cobra move on Slater before he got distracted, allowing Slater to hit a big move and score the pin.

After the match, the GM chimed in with Michael Cole reading a message from him, reminding everyone that Nexus is banned during the main event and will be suspended if they interfere. He told the group to leave the ringside area and they did just that.

8. Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett to retain the WWE Championship with John Cena as the special referee. The finish saw Barrett hit his Wasteland move and made the cover but Orton was able to grab the ropes at the count of two. That did not sit well with Barrett who began barking at Cena. He then pushed Cena who pushed him back and right into an RKO from Orton who made the cover. Cena counted one, two and then paused before bringing his hand down one more time and giving Orton the victory. Cena then threw off his referee shirt before the members of Nexus came to the ring and went on the attack. However, Orton and Cena were able to fight them off. Cena then grabbed the championship and gave it to Orton followed by a hug between the two. The stipulation going into the match was that Cena would be fired from the company if Barrett didn't win the title. Other than the announcers mentioning this, nothing else was done. So, we'll have to wait until "Raw" on Monday night to see the follow up.

Wedding bells are ringing in 'Glee' Season 2, Episode 8, but more than one lifelong commitment will be made during 'Furt.'

That's right, two ceremonies will be happening on Tuesday -- one for Burt and Carole, and another for Sue and, well, Sue. Yes, the Cheerios coach will be marrying herself.

However, Sue won't be alone. Her mother, Doris, played by guest star Carol Burnett, is in Lima for a visit. In the promo, we see her hugging her daughter saying, "Ow! I always forget you've got this weird rib cage." Spoken like a true Sylvester.

The duo will sing the ever-so-appropriate 'Ohio' from the 1953 musical 'Wonderful Town,' which asks: "Why, oh why, oh why oh -- why did I ever leave Ohio?"

The video also shows the cast dancing down the aisle singing 'Marry You,' which is one of two Bruno Mars songs to be featured on the upcoming episode. Finn also performs the singer-songwriter's hit single 'Just the Way You Are.'

Meanwhile, Will has recovered from that nasty flu that was going around William McKinley High, and is in perfect condition to sing 'Sway,' the Pablo Beltrán y Su Orchestra song popularized by Dean Martin. Wait, didn't he learn anything from Hollie Holiday?
